FoundCloud.io (“we,” “us,” or “our”) values transparency in how user data is managed. This policy outlines the process and terms for account deletion and the treatment of user data associated with such requests.
This policy applies to all registered users of FoundCloud.io who wish to delete their accounts. By submitting a deletion request, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.
Users may request the deletion of their account, which will prevent future login access. However, certain data, as outlined in this policy, may be retained for operational integrity or other valid purposes.
Upon account deletion:
• Your account information, including login credentials, will be permanently removed.
• You will no longer be able to access your account or associated services.
For operational integrity:
• QR codes purchased and assigned to your account will not be deleted to maintain the functionality of the platform.
• Messages sent or received will be retained for historical and operational purposes.
• QR code-related data, especially for codes marked as “found,” will remain intact to support the app's primary purpose.
Note: Retained data will no longer be associated with the deleted user account and will instead remain available for other users as required.
Some data, such as QR codes and messages, is retained to ensure:
• Operational integrity and continuity of the platform.
• Proper functionality for other users who rely on these features.
To request account deletion:
1. Send an email to info@foundcloud.io from the email address registered with your account.
2. Include the following details in your email for identity verification:
• Registered mobile number.
• Address associated with your account.
We will verify your identity using the information provided in your deletion request to ensure it aligns with your registered account details. Requests that cannot be verified will not be processed.
• User data will be retained for up to 60 days after the deletion request is received.
• This retention period ensures compliance with operational requirements and allows sufficient time for processing the request.
We aim to process and confirm account deletion requests within 60 days. A confirmation email will be sent once the deletion is complete or if there are any issues or exceptions.
Once your account is deleted:
• The action is permanent and cannot be reversed.
• Deleted data is irretrievable.
• Deleting your account will result in the loss of access to all associated services, data, and content.
• No features or services will remain active once the account is deleted.
FoundCloud.io does not maintain user data in backups. Therefore, once deleted, your data will not exist in any form.
Where possible, retained data such as QR codes and messages may be anonymized to remove any association with your identity. This ensures continued functionality while protecting your personal information.
Users will be notified of updates to this policy via confirmation email. It is recommended to review the updated policy periodically.

• Partial Deletion: FoundCloud.io does not offer partial deletion options. All requests will result in complete account deletion as outlined in this policy.
